WOYWW 446

Using my Tim Holtz Stamping Platform. The unexpected favorite thing about this is being able to pull off the lid to stamp it, and put it back on easy peasy one handed if need be. The gold paint has been put to good use for many things including painting the edges of the die cut used in the card below. Lots and lots going on, stamps pile high on the left, a Christmas Tree die getting buried, glues and more stamps.

One of the die cuts from Papertrey Ink's Mix & Mat: Berry Boughs dies, painted gold around the edges, painted with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink in the middle. The deer from Dash away all, and die cut printed trees from the Wonderland kit.

Head over to Julia's Stamping Ground for more crafty ganders : D.

I think we need to talk. But first thank you for swinging by my blog. I DO NOT love the Tim Holtz platform, am I using it wrong? I just can't get onboard, I love the MISTI, the TH one is driving me nuts. Your card is gorgeous, I love the leaping deer. Merry Christmas to you. Claire #26

Hi there. A lovely wintery scene for the Christmas card - well done. These stamp platform thingies seem to have evoked a wide range of emotions - love/hate. I've seen one Mrs D has, but never used one - maybe next time I stay with Mrs D I'll have the opportunity to try it out. Glad you so love yours.
Have a special Christmas season. Take care. God bless.

Well, the TH stampin platform seems to have divided opinion! I have no idea what one looks like but if you're happy with it then that's all that matters! Love the card, the leaping deer seems to have been a popular motif this year. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas,

Oh nice card Sally, love the holey background. Interestingly, I don't have any stamping platform, haven't seen one yet....but I do have a Stamp Positioner made and bought about 15 years ago from Mostly Animals....I wonder if it's the same thing, but different?!!
Love the idea of piles to the left and the right...makes a lot of us feel very at home!

oh yes, those stamp positioners will save you from bald spots of pulling out your hair when you work on a background that makes you smile and you miss stamp the sentiment, that re-inking it has saved me so much time :)
Merry Christmas! ~Stacy #26
